The City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities, and meter program representatives are holding an open house to share details about upcoming project in the neighborhood.

CONSTRUCTION: WHAT TO EXPECT

When water meter construction takes place in your neighborhood, you will always have access to your home. However, access to parking on your street may be temporarily restricted while construction takes place. 

Reminder, when construction occurs at your property:

• Water could be shut off for up to 4 hours 

• Construction may require access to your yards 

• Sidewalk closures and traffic delays may occur

Construction Notifications

When construction is scheduled to begin at your property, you will be notified multiple times in advance, including: one week before construction, and again one day before the start of work.

Construction Hours: Weekdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. & some Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
