Bancroft Food Drive
Drop off some food for those more in need this Christmas/Holiday Season. Here's the info:
The food drive will begin on Tuesday, December
17th, and will conclude on Thursday, December 19th. Food donations
will be accepted in the multipurpose room before or after school. The
Baskets will be distributed to families on Friday, December 20th.
Most Needed Items
The PTA, along
with the Student Council, is planning the annual Holiday Food Drive. Once again
the Sacramento Senator Lions have donated turkeys, and with your help we will
collect food to create individual family food baskets Each December,
since 2001, Bancroft Elementary School has distributed over 350 Holiday
Food Baskets to local family and friends in the hopes to brighten the
holiday season. This year we are planning Holiday Baskets for at least 35
families. Last year, your generous donations were the reason we were able to
reach 38 families from our local community providing them with fresh, healthy
and nutritious food baskets for the holiday season.

- Cold cereal, oatmeal·
- Peanut Butter and Jelly·
- 100% fruit juice & canned fruit
- Pasta sauce canned tomatoes, vegetables
- Pasta, dried bean, rice
- Canned tuna
- Canned pasta stew, chili, hearty soup
